I was really waiting for this to go up on style.com, without the watermarks, because i think the pieces are lovely. Richard Chai showed his ‘LOVE’ line instead of his usual high-end pieces, because apparently it suited well with the menswear line, acting as the “girlfriend”, as explained by style. Well, we all know the economy had something to do with it.

Anyways, i think the collection is cute enough, affordable enough for it to be bought by girls without daddy’s trust fund, and chic enough to be worn. Though there’s really no new silhouette to any of the pieces, but there’s this sense of neo-romanticism to the pieces, and that appeals to the consumers in a way. I especially love the prints that were used and the collection definitely flowed together, despite the use of a rather garish neon purplish pink top, which is not included in my montage.
